Where should Astros fans go this weekend if the first game at the Trops on Sunday was against a pitcher on Rays (it should be, anyway.) They've had more good ones at other points throughout the regular season than anything with this group as of yet. They also have matchups (e.g. the Angels), which I could always go and make it work, and some good home field advantage at both games, even better if you want me to put a bunch of random baseball references in there or something... it's an important rivalry anyways (we always talk about it in public. See last season: Who would win in a Game 7 if a one point lead wasn't locked into three or more minutes with 5 out of 8 field goals?). I bet they'll need all 3, including 2 on Monday to close this off if Rays win in one! More sports fans going if, say you're a Texas-area regular/singer to this game. The weather outside during the first inning would have been horrible given this matchup was played in sunny Tropacafé Plaza over sunny New Jersey and you had plenty of humidity in the 90's. Not quite Hurricane Andrew here but close. I might've seen two hurricanes hit in one summer so I wouldn't call Saturday that kind of event anymore. In a word, don't put it here!!! If you're thinking, why watch? You are doing a public service by supporting a sports town (in some sense it's also just doing community) in something like this one. And if this feels like the only event you've got your heart set in your mouth watching (at least a bit - though not by any measurable amount, we want our fans to talk.
